With a diverse résumé in Canada, they are a trusted underwriter of residential and commercial title insurance for lawyers and notaries across the country.

The Challenge
It was becoming increasingly difficult for Chicago Title Insurance Company Canada to find highly qualified people, “we advertised for a number of roles and kept getting the same standard of applicants. There seemed to be a shortage of talented, trained, professional, business development people in the market,” said John Rider, Senior Vice President, Retail and Commercial Title Insurance. “We weren’t just looking for lawyers but for people who could work well with lawyers in non-practising roles. We tried running searches on our own and it didn’t work. When we realized we were getting nowhere, we decided to turn to The Counsel Network.”

The Solution
